Only 14 days to go.. for if not the best, surely the most well-known and advertised festival in the world!!
Two extended weekends in Indio, California (nickname: The city of festivals/ motto: the place to be) info the area surely becomes the place to be during this time!
This year's line up via has slightly better names than the huge line up of last-year-missed Glastonbury (here for line up)
The festival gives the great chance to explore its surroundings during the week and return for the second weekend for another injection of music. Tourism and Festival combined perfectly!
One can travel from Indio to Palm Springs (only 30 km distance). A greater trip would be a visit to LA (206km) but the most amazing would be a road trip to the coast from Long Beach (211 km frok Indio) to Tijuana, Mexico (Long Beach --> Tijuana 195 km)! and then back to Indio (282 km)
Dreams are easily made, plans need time, though.
